Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Apex Movers and Packers! These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our services. By hiring our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Definitions

• “Company” refers to Apex Movers and Packers.
• “Client” refers to the individual or entity hiring the services of the Company.
• “Services” refer to all moving, packing, transportation, and related services provided by the Company.

2. Booking and Payment

• All bookings must be confirmed with a signed agreement and a deposit, which will be applied towards the total cost.
• The remaining balance must be paid in full upon completion of the services, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Payment can be made via cash, credit card, bank transfer, or any other method agreed upon by the Company.

3. Cancellation and Refunds

• Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled service date will be eligible for a full refund of the deposit.
• Cancellations made within 48 hours of the service date will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.
• The Company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule services due to unforeseen circumstances, in which case a full refund will be provided if rescheduling is not possible.

4. Client Responsibilities

• The Client is responsible for providing accurate information regarding the items to be moved, including size, weight, and any special handling requirements.
• The Client must ensure that the premises are accessible and safe for the Company’s personnel to perform the services.
• The Client is responsible for packing all items securely unless the packing service is included in the agreement.

5. Company Responsibilities

• The Company will perform the services with reasonable care and skill, using appropriate materials and methods.
• The Company will make every effort to deliver items on the agreed schedule but is not liable for delays due to factors beyond its control (e.g., weather, traffic, road conditions).

6. Liability and Insurance

• The Company is insured for liability arising from its services. However, liability for loss or damage to items is limited to the declared value, unless additional insurance is purchased by the Client.
• The Company is not liable for any damage to items not properly packed by the Client or for items of extraordinary value (e.g., jewelry, cash) unless specifically agreed upon in writing.

7. Claims

• Any claims for loss or damage must be reported to the Company in writing within 48 hours of the completion of services.
• The Company will investigate claims and, if found valid, will offer compensation based on the declared value or the cost of repair or replacement, whichever is lower.

8. Termination

• The Company reserves the right to terminate the agreement if the Client breaches any terms or if the Client engages in any conduct that endangers the safety of the Company’s personnel.
• The Client may terminate the agreement if the Company fails to provide the agreed-upon services, in which case a refund of any unused portion of the payment will be provided.

9. Governing Law

• These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], and any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Your Jurisdiction].

10. Amendments

• The Company reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes.
